Aidez

This is a progress report on my year of projects!

I've been working on Aidez this weekend. It's lots of fun with some new cables that I haven't done before. I'm about 1/3 of the way through the back. I was having so much fun knitting it this afternoon that I forgot to take a photo before it got dark!

I'm using Cascade Eco, which I ordered from WEBS. I love the smell, it's like sheep! It feels so nice as well.

So this is a photo of my swatch. It's not even an exciting swatch with cables, it's just stocking stitch. I promise I've done more than this!

Looking lovely, I found Aidez in my Patterns folder this morning and had forgotten how lovely it is. I'm knitting an Erik hoody for my brother in the exact same yarn and also love it!! Can't wait to see some of those cables...

Smells like sheep....that would have me sneezing like crazy. It bothers me when we pass them at the zoo, so couldn't work on anything with that odor. Mom used to laugh at me, cause I would hold my breathe at animals I found stinky! Where are you that it's 7 pm where you are, as I'm writing this at just past noon on Sunday?

I know exactly what you mean about the sheep-y smell. I love it but it makes my cat crazy! Very nice project!

Lovely colour yarn. I am impressed by your swatch because I never manage them, I get to about five rows and give up because the pull of casting on is too great
